Baby Nur Khayla, had a normal birth at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital. After birth, Khayla suffered jaundice which was serious enough to keep her admitted for 3 days. But baby Khayla’s jaundice lasted up to 2 months. Khayla’s mother noticed that baby Khayla was feeling difficulty breathing and isn’t drinking milk. Her mother later noticed baby Khayla’s voice was getting lower day by day.

At 2 months of age, the doctor found a whooshing sound in her chest which appeared to be a heart murmur. The doctor suspected she has heart disease. They were referred to Ampang Hospital for further examination.

Doctors from Ampang Hospital suggested that baby Khayla should be consulted by a specialist at one of the private hospitals in Kuala Lumpur. The doctor immediately suggested surgery.

However Khayla’s parents can’t afford to pay for Khayla’s surgery, this is because they can’t afford the surgery cost of RM60,000.
