At the age of 39, Noraseyah began to feel swelling on her left breast but did not feel any pain. However, she did not care too much as she thought it was a normal swell and it will go off in time. Meanwhile, she has a 17-year-old son who was still a school-going teenager.
By mid-2020, the tumor began to grow larger and became reddish. She decided to go through a mammogram and scan. The results were shocking and heartbreaking as she finds out that she has breast cancer.
In that same year, Noraseyah had undergone her first chemotherapy for the first 6 months when cancer became less active.
However in May 2021, cancer spread to the left breast, and she had to go for surgery to remove both breasts. Then second chemotherapy for 6 months was scheduled as well for Noraseyah. Her condition was okay but not great.
In early 2022, after undergoing a health checkup, the doctors found out that the cancer cells had spread to the lungs. Therefore, the doctor advised Noraseyah to undergo chemotherapy for the third time. She has to go to the hospital 3 times a month. The cancer cells are spreading to other organs which is life-threatening. Noraseyah needs immediate funding of RM 21,400 for her Chemotherapy and other treatment costs.
Noraseyah cannot afford the cost of chemotherapy treatment as she has a small business selling cakes. She hopes that she can be treated fast and get home to her son as soon as possible.
