29 year old suffers heart failure!

Mohd Taufiq Bin Zaini(29) had stopped smoking for 2 years and decided to live a healthy life. Only to end up with heart failure. 

His bodyweight kept increasing up to 196kg which made him worried.

Before the Ramadan month, he had been complaining about abdominal & gastric pain and was rushed to the Emergency Department at Putra Specialist Hosp. 

During scanning, everything was normal. However, his oxygen level was decreasing so, he was given an oxygen tube. Slowly he was starting to lose consciousness. His wife Norita Bt Omar(29) claimed that the Dr had told her that her husband won't be able to cope with his condition. 

Fortunately, his condition became stable in the evening of the same day, and was warded in the ICU with a high flow oxygen mask. There the Dr performed echocardiography to see the heart rate and found out he was experiencing serious heart failure and had to rely on a life support machine and medicines for 30 days.

His condition is fairly stable but is advised not to work as he might face complications. He had received a donation of RM48000 for his life support machine from a Facebook post. However, he is still in need of another RM 21000 for 6 months' worth of medication to control his heart condition. 

The sad part is that Mohd Taufiq has a 6 month old child whereby the wife is working as a staff nurse on shifts and she is struggling with home expenses and Mohd Taufiq is currently living under his parents' supervision.

We from MyHeart in collaboration with MyFundAction are collecting a fund of RM 21000 for Mohd Taufiq's medical expenses and funding costs to bring him back to a normal condition so that he could start working again.
