Currently, Masjid E Ashrafia in Incheon serves as a vital center for the local Muslim community, including Inha University students, offering a space for prayers and Islamic studies.

However, the mosque faces significant challenges, particularly with financial obligations like monthly rent and utility bills.

During winter, they can only afford a second-hand heater due to the high cost of a new one. The extended praying area lacks carpeting, forcing worshippers to pray on a cold floor.

Additionally, the mosque's capacity is limited to 30-50 people, which proves insufficient for larger gatherings during Friday and Eid prayers.

Despite the challenges, they continue to actively run programs at the mosque including monthly meetings for Muslim students and Korean Muslims, Quran classes, halaqahs and festival gatherings.
