Haura's Bluish Face Alerted Parents to a Serious Issue
A young parent’s life was shattered when their newborn, Nur Haura Muneera, was diagnosed with a rare congenital heart defect called Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage (TAPVD).
This condition keeps the pulmonary veins, which should carry oxygen from the lungs, from connecting to the left side of the heart.
Seven days after birth, the parents saw worrying signs: trouble breathing, not wanting to eat, and bluish skin.
Scared, they quickly took their baby to the hospital, where she was put in an incubator right away.
Haura Needs RM40,000 to Stay Alive!
The doctor stressed the urgent need for treatment to safeguard the baby from heart failure, slowed growth, and potential death!
However, the staggering cost of the surgery and the limited window for it to be performed present a major challenge for the parents, who have two other children and rely solely on the father as the family's only source of income.
The total cost of the surgery is RM100,000, but we are kindly seeking support for RM40,000, as we will cover the remaining balance.
